Earlier today Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Hon. Najib Balala was the chief guest during the Community Rangers Course 1/2022 pass out parade at KWS LEA, Manyani.
The rigorous 90-day training called “Combating Poaching and Illegal Wildlife Trafficking in Kenya through an Integrated Approach” saw 68 rangers from; Maasai Mara National Reserve, Conservancy Rangers from the Maasai Mara Conservancies and Conservancy Scouts from the Tsavo Landscape get equipped with paramilitary skills, integrity and proficient knowledge necessary for effective performance of their duties.
In attendance was PS Zainab Hussein, KWS Chairman Board of Trustees Major General (Rtd) Joseph Kibwana and KWS DG John Waweru among other dignitaries.
