Eldoret to Host Tourism Week 2026/ World Tourism Day

Uasin Gishu county will host this year’s UN World Tourism Week and World Tourism Day from 23rd–27th September 2026. The event will bring together stakeholders and the public for a series of activities celebrating tourism, culture, sports, conservation, gastronomy and digital innovation with a special focus on the North Rift region. The week will highlight the role of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence in transforming tourism, while showcasing Eldoret and the greater Rift Valley rich array of tourism attractions.
