PS Tourism Tours Ruma National Park – 06/03/2024

On the sidelines of the Second Homabay Investment Conference, PS John Ololtuaa visited the Ruma National Park as part of Tourism Product awareness. He was accompanied by Mr. Bakari Chongwa – Senior Ass. Director Western Conservation Area, Mr. David Oyugi – Ass. Director Ruma National Park, Kenya Tourism Board Ag.CEO Mr. John Chirchir and other Ministry officials.

Ruma is the home of the Roan Antelope, and offers sanctuary to black and white Rhinos , the threatened Roan Antelope and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffes.

Other wildlife populations present include; Oribi, serval Cats, Honey Badgers, Topi, Zebra, black Rhino, Jackson’s and Lelwel Hartebeest, Bohor Reedbuck, Leopard, Buffalo and the spotted Hyena.
