Launch of the Special Presidential Programme on the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign – 21/12/2022

Following the Special Presidential Programme on the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign that seeks to increase national tree cover to 30%  by 2032, PS Silvia Museiya accompanied by Regional Commissioner Nairobi presided over the launch at Ruai,Njiru Subcounty #jazamiti
This campaign will raise 15B seedlings for restoration of a total of 10.6 million hectares of degraded landscapes across the country .Njiru Subcounty planted 1500 seedlings in Ruai Sewage area.
The event is concurrently being marked in all 47 counties , with targeted planting of 560,000 seedlings across the country .
