The Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Peninah Malonza, has today visited the hotels affected by the recent fire outbreak in Watamu, Kilifi County. She was joined by the Principal Secretary, State Department for Tourism, John Ololtuaa, and other Ministry officials.
The CS promised to work closely with relevant authorities to ensure that the affected hotels get the much needed support to rebuild their facilities and business can resume normalcy as soon as possible.
The CS also promised to train beach boys at the Ronald Ngala Utalii College once completed, so that they can serve tourists at the beach in a more civilised manner.
