The State Department for Wildlife is a state cooperation that was established in 2018 under the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife for the first time since 1989 through an executive order No .1 of 2018, with a mandate to conserve and manage wildlife in Kenya and to enforce related laws and regulations.
