Code of Conduct – 25/07/2024

The State Department for Tourism convened a public participation forum today at the Inkaba Resort and Conference Centre in Kilifi County to discuss the draft ‘Code of Conduct’ for beach management. This Code of Conduct sets behavioral standards for all interactions within and outside the beach environment, referencing the beach’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with these standards. It is applicable to directors, officers, employees, and, where relevant, contractors of the beach group of companies. The event also saw the participation of Senior County executive officials from Kilifi County, representatives from TRA and KUC as well as various stakeholders within the tourism industry.
