PS Tourism John Ololtuaa, attended the National Visa Committee meeting at KSG Nairobi

This morning PS Tourism John Ololtuaa, attended the National Visa Committee meeting at KSG Nairobi chaired by the PS State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services Julius Bitok.

Among the issues discussed was the implementation of Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) of which Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) and Advance Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) are some of the components.

Present during the meeting was the PS for the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration Dr. Raymond Omollo, Director General for Immigration Directorate Everlyn Cheluget, and other heads of security organs.

They later joined different stakeholders for a meeting on the implementation of the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) and Advance Passenger Information (API).

By improving security, efficiency, and ease of travel, IBMS will attract more tourists, enhance their experience, and ultimately boost the country’s economy.
