This afternoon, I held a consultative meeting with a delegation led by Tatler Asia CEO Sean Fitzpatrick. We discussed on potential areas of collaboration to market Kenya tourism destinations to the Asian market, which remains a key tourist source market for Kenya.
We remain committed to intensifying our campaign in Asia with a view to achieving our 5 million tourists’ target by 2027.
Present during the meeting was the Ag. Tourism Secretary Bernard Kahuthia. Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers & Caterers CEO Mike Macharia, Global Events Africa MD Bonita Mutoni, Ikaze PCO MD Brenda Anderson, Fiona Ngesa from KTB among others.
