Nothern Rangeland Trust – 18/07/2024

PS Tourism John Ololtuaa together with Principal Secretary Shipping and Maritime Affairs Geoffrey Kaituko held a meeting with directors of Northern Rangelands Trust to establish partnerships and collaboration in developing tourism in the Northern Kenya frontier.

The meeting identified the following key areas:

1. Tourism Product development
2. Marketing
3. Capacity development and job creation among others

Following this development, a technical committee from the State Department for Tourism was agreed upon to firm on the key areas of collaboration and implementation matrix to be launched soon.
