PS Tourism John Ololtuaa led a beach clean-up exercise at the Diani Beach in Kwale County which was coordinated by the State Department for Tourism in conjunction with the County Government of Kwale. The exercise culminated in planting of mangrove trees at the Kongo River Beach.
Present during the event were County Commissioner, Kwale Mr. Steve Orinde, CEC Tourism and Trade Kwale County, Hon. Michael Mutua, officers from KWS, Kenya Forest Service, State Department for Tourism, Kenya Tourism Federation officials, SAGAs within SDT, Beach operators and other members of the public, among other stakeholders.
