Induction Training for New Officers in State Department for Wildlife – 03/02/2025

In line with the Human Resource Policies and Procedures Manual for public service, PS Silvia Museiya  this morning officially opened a 5 day induction training for  newly appointed officers and those who were recently transferred to the State Department. The training is meant to equip the new officers with the basic guides and ethics in the Civil Service.
Patriotism, self drive, accountability, teamwork  and being organised are the key values we should have as officers to ensure that the civil service remains a dynamic, ethical, and an efficient institution dedicated to serving the nation” PS Museiya told the officers
“As you embark on this new chapter, remember that every challenge you face is an opportunity to learn, and every success is a testament to your hard work. Embrace the journey with an open mind and a passionate heart.” she added.
The officers will be taken through functions and procedures of the various subunits in the State Department even as they get accustomed to the conservation sector culture and conversations.
