DECISIONS AGREED ON GRADUAL REOPENING OF TOURISM ESTABLISHMENTS

The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife this morning chaired a meeting between representatives of Ministry of Health led by Acting Director General and CEOs of Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers and Caterers (KAHC), Pubs, Entertainment and Restaurants Association of Kenya (PERAK) and Retail Trade Association of Kenya (RETRAK). The meeting was convened to discuss structured ways of gradual reopening tourism establishments. This will start with restaurants and eateries.

It is the responsibility of every restaurant or eatery seeking reopening to access the protocols as published by the Ministry of Health and comply with them.
Each establishment should have its own individual standard operating procedures to guide compliance (www.health.go.ke).
